Our esteemed partners
We firmly believe in leveraging impact through partnerships
Our Partners
On our way towards our mission, we join forces with various partners, including foundations and trusts, other NGO’s, schools or companies. Together, we can deliver the education and network needed for the children to thrive and become leaders of tomorrow. These are our esteemed partners:
● ENKO
In Zambia, due to a lack of affordable and quality schools, Pestalozzi International owns the Pestalozzi Education Centre (PEC), which ENKO Education manages. Enko Education is a fast-growing network of African international schools, increasing access to the world’s best universities for learners across Africa. ENKO were chosen to run the school due to their close alignment of values and objectives for our learners.
● Cambrian Hall
The school is our partner school in Dehradun, India. Pioneers of Social, Ethical and Emotional (SEE) learning in India, they represent close alignment to Pestalozzian Values. Cambrian Hall School’s mission is to provide a holistic, accessible and inclusive learning environment that fosters intercultural understanding and develops service-oriented leadership, empowering learners to reach their full potential academically, physically, socially, and emotionally.
● Mastercard Foundation
The Mastercard Foundation works with visionary organisations to enable young people in Africa and in indigenous communities in Canada to access dignified and fulfilling work. Like Pestalozzi International, they work towards a future where young people are driving transformative change and achieving their full potential. The Mastercard Foundation generously supports our Alumni with scholarship opportunities on the continent of Africa.
● Hali Access Network
The HALI Access Network is an association of non-profit organisations in Africa that works with high-achieving, low-income (HALI) students to access international higher education opportunities. They strive to level the playing field in international education to increase inclusion, access, and scholarship support for remarkable students who only lack finances to make their educational dreams come true.
● Vontobel Foundation
The non-profit Vontobel Foundation was established in 1993 by private banker Dr. Hans Vontobel (1916–2016) and supports charitable endeavours in various fields. Vontobel Foundation is our inception partner for SkillsHub, aiming to empower out-of-school youth into the formal economy through sustainable livelihoods.
● Edulution
Edulution is a social enterprise partially funded by Pestalozzi International. Its innovative tablet-based numeracy learning programme has impacted more than 40,000 learners. They use tablets to do an initial assessment and then, facilitated by the coach and guided by the software, engage with appropriate interactive exercises and videos, working at their own pace to achieve mastery before moving to the next level. Not only was Edulution’s first centre based at our Zambian Village, but many of their coaches are Pestalozzi Alumni. They work in their rural communities, acting as role models and changemakers.
