Our education programmes in Africa and Asia are designed to inspire future leaders and changemakers. Through a holistic approach, we go beyond traditional learning, equipping young people not only with academic and vocational skills but with the confidence and character needed to lead their communities.
What we deliver
We deliver person-centred education in Zambia, India, and Nepal rooted in the Pestalozzi approach and in local culture. Our programmes foster both academic and practical skills, cultivating each young person’s unique talents, characters and passions. We believe in nurturing the whole child, encouraging creative thinking, opening up new perspectives, and enabling children to make well-informed life decisions. The effects of our education extend far beyond individual students, creating a ripple effect. By developing their potential, we prepare them to become self-reliant adults and compassionate leaders who drive positive change and economic development within their communities and beyond.
Future Leaders Programme
Our flagship programme offers residential scholarships to bright children from the poorest backgrounds. It provides a well-rounded education that nurtures intellectual, emotional, and practical skills, preparing them to become leaders and changemakers in their communities.
SkillsHub
Our vocational training centre provides teenagers from disadvantaged backgrounds who are not in school with in-demand training in digital skills, agricultural science, and more. This programme ensures students are well-prepared to enter the modern workforce, care for themselves and contribute to local economies.
Our worldwide network of leaders and changemakers
Our non-financial support does not end with graduation. There is a vivid Pestalozzi International Alumni community with members from all locations of our programmes. The Alumni initiative fosters exchange amongst the Pestalozzi alumni but also offers further trainings, career guidance and mentorship. All with the aim to empower alumni to become leaders and changemakers, which bring positive change to their communities.
Scholarships
We partner with quality schools to offer scholarships, training, and support, ensuring students receive a child-centred education. Our scholarships promote social mobility and economic empowerment by providing access to education for children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Pestalozzi International’s focus on girls is woven into every programme we run. Through initiatives like the Future Leaders Programme and Skills Hub, we ensure that for every boy two girls have the opportunity to pursue education and build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
