Leveraging our impact

Partnering with schools to bring our successful approach to more children.

Equal access to education

In many parts of the Global South, access to quality education remains a distant dream for countless children. Barriers such as extreme poverty, lack of infrastructure, and societal expectations prevent many young people from realising their full potential. For girls, refugees, and those from disadvantaged backgrounds, these challenges are even greater.

Creating perspectives

The Pestalozzi International Scholarships Programme was established to provide these children with opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach, ensuring they can pursue their education and change their futures.

Offering life-changing opportunities

The Pestalozzi International Scholarships Programme is dedicated to providing fully funded scholarships to exceptional students from marginalised communities. These scholarships cover not only tuition fees but also provide essential resources such as accommodation, school supplies, and emotional and practical support throughout their education.

School partnerships

Pestalozzi International also works closely with partner schools to implement this approach, influencing teaching methods and encouraging child-centred, experiential learning. By sharing best practices, training teachers, and providing resources to schools, we ensure that more children benefit from the Pestalozzi method.

Focus on marginalised groups

Our scholarships prioritise those who are most in need, including girls and young people from refugee communities. By targeting the most disadvantaged, we ensure that the transformative power of education reaches those who will benefit the most. These scholars are often the first in their families to access secondary or higher education, making them role models and pioneers for others.

Our global reach – our commitment

We will provide 1,000 scholarships over five years, focusing on kids aged 10-18.

The Pestalozzi approach

Inspired by Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi, our education philosophy nurtures the whole child: intellectually, emotionally, and practically. We encourage creative thinking, broaden perspectives, and empower children to make informed life decisions.
